The Spirited Pig Summer Shindig

The Carolina Ale House – Downtown Raleigh, located on 500 Glenwood Ave., is hosting their 2nd Annual The Spirited Pig Summer Shindig event Saturday, June 25th to benefit Stop Hunger Now. The event will showcase spirits from TOPO Distillery, Jim Beam, Effen Vodka, Marker’s 46 as well as beer from six local breweries. There will be live music by 40LOVE, lots of delicious food and a photo booth on Carolina Ale House’s open-air patio. Tickets are $35 until June 24th and $40 the day of the event (June 25th). Guests will receive a souvenir tasting glass on the day of the event. Arrive early and you get an additional BONUS! The first 50 guests will receive a FREE commemorative T-shirt! Stop Hunger Now’s mission is to end hunger in our lifetime. The international hunger relief non-profit organization coordinates the packaging and distribution of food and other life-saving aid to people in developing nations. Since they were founded in 1998, they have provided over 225 million meals in 73 countries. This year, they will package 45 million meals, and ship over $9 million in donated aid which primarily includes vitamins and medical supplies.
