Tip: Rather than roasting one garlic bulb, I roast several. I use what I need and freeze the remaining cloves for future recipes. Once I began roasting garlic, I found myself integrating it into countless dishes.

Roasted Garlic Recipe: a Step by Step to Roast Garlic in the Oven
Ingredients
- 3 garlic heads
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Using a cutting board and sharp knife, slice the top off the garlic heads to expose the individual garlic cloves.
- Place the garlic heads in an oven safe bowl or baking pan. The heads of the exposed garlic heads should face up.
- Drizzle one tbsp of olive oil on each garlic. If I am feeling a bit generous, I will drizzle a little extra olive oil.
- Sprinkle one tsp of sea salt on top of the garlic heads.
- If you are using glass bakeware, roast the garlic for 45 minutes. If you are using metal bakeware, roasting time should decrease to 30 minutes.
- Remove the bakeware from the oven and allow the garlic to cool for five minutes before integrating into your recipe. The gorgeous golden brown garlic cloves will be delicate and soft to the touch. I hope you enjoy this Roasted Garlic Recipe!
