Mint Simple Syrup
Not only can this Mint Simple Syrup be used to make a Mint-Lime Dressing, but it can also be used to add a lovely and refreshing sweetness in cocktails.

Cook Time 15 mins
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 5 mint stems
Add all ingredients into a one quart sauce pan and cook on medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Stir gently to ensure that the sugar disolves. Reduce to medium heat and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
Cool the simple syrup before storing in a new and clean Mason jar. Strain the syrup and discard the mint springs. Chill the Mint Simple Syrup in the refrigerator and use as needed.
